2012 Fantasy F1 Results - Canada

The Canada Round up

First the Relevant Facts and figures that determine the points…
All 24 cars qualified within the 107% time

There was one Grid drop penalty to be applied…

The Gearbox was replaced on Maldonado’s car out of Sequence resulting in a grid Drop from 17th to 22nd. As this dropped Maldonado from Q2 to Q1 he loses his Qualifying Bonus Point.

Qualifying bonuses for Constructor having both cars in Q3 go to McLaren, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes, with the Engine supplier bonuses going to Mercedes and Renault for each powering 2 different constructors into Q3.

There were 4 leaders of the race Hamilton, Alonso, Grosjean and Vettel, each receives 1 bonus point. Hamilton lead the most laps resulting in additional bonus points to him, McLaren for Constructor and Mercedes for Engine supplier.

Fastest lap went to Vettel taking the bonus points for himself, Red Bull and engine supplier Renault.

The top 2 engines from each supplier, powering different constructors are colour coded for easy reference.

Of those who were classified non finishers:
All four were considered to be Technical failures. De la Rosa, Karthikeyan and Glock suffered Brake issues. Schumacher a DRS Failure. Each of Mercedes and Marussia receive -10 points Penalty, with the Double Failure at HRT resulting in -10 points penalty against each Car.

Onto the results…

We Have Joint Top Scorers for the Canada round, Bad Boy Racing and Born Racer’s Born Racers with 77 Points. TMSV Grand Prix was third with 68 points.
Breaking the run of 6 different winners, Both Bad Boy Racing and Born Racer’s Born Racers mark up their second wins of the Year.

In the Overall, Moral Victors re-take the lead with 329 points. Leopold Racing and Duke Grand Prix Engineering now share second place with 321 points.

Thanks for the quick round-up ScotsBrutesFan.

I need to find more consistent form, languishing there with two wins.
