Hello, guys!
I'm new here (just signed up a few minutes ago), but I have been following this forum's progress and have been watching the conversations and I feel like it is now my time to join the conversations themselves! I was really quite surprised that nobody has the username "Beetle", after the massive popularity of the VW Beetle!
I am not the craziest follower of racing, but I plan to be! I really like the sport of racing, and I have experience (I've karted before). However, even though I feel like I'm pretty knowledgeable on a wide range of racing subjects (I know much about WTCC, BTCC, NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula 1, Grand-Am, WEC, FIA GT1, FIA BES, and V8 Supercars), I'm trying to get in the swing of things and really become an expert. And what a better place to do that than here?
I'm calling a project I'm doing for myself "Project Catch-Up 2012". That means that I, having had many other things, like moving houses, school, and one of my parent's having a brief health issue, have fallen behind in many racing series now. I'm going to start from scratch and try, through around 2-4 hours of watching racing a day (from the TV or computer), I will have myself all caught up on the major series by August. Wish me luck!
