One has to wonder how much longer Sato will keep his seat.

Bernard needing 16, the track owners will drive a harder bargain knowing how much it'll cost him if doesn't bag that replacement round.

He's getting paid for that seat, and unless Honda is footing some of the bill I don't think he'll last much longer. He is quick, but if he is only wasting the team's resources, then he will be out by Edmonton.

The story from Milwaukee is that the head of Road America skipped the SCCA June Sprints to visit the Indy race.

I've no objection to any of the alternatives suggested in that this thread and the other thread. With the new Texas "discovery", the series can arrive at an oval with confidence and its head held high. Road America would be excellent too. The question is can Bernard swing an alternative and keep his losses manageable.

Indy Star motorsports reporter Curt Cavin tweeted this morning that Road America has an 80% chance of being added to the schedule.

Push to pass has some advantages over DRS. In F1, drivers can use it every lap but in the same straight. In IndyCar, there's strategy about when to use it and in which place.
I wonder how big will be the horsepower difference.

Also, unlike with DRS the driver in front can actually defend against the P2P pass... if he has any boosts left that is

I agree w/Oreo, Indycar should have paid R/A and ALMS to share the bill.
