Hi Folks,
Just a note to say thank you to all of you from the CSCC race control and staff for an excellent meeting. Ran well and it was good to catch up with some old friends and faces etc. Yes its a shame is was one day but lets see what happens in 2013.
Also a thank you to the circuit staff for their help over the day. The new race control looks good too. A great circuit and wish its was closer to Essex.
Next meeting is at Castle Combe on the 21st and 22nd of you want to add to your CSCC fix,
Thanks again everyone

Another good CSCC meeting - as always! One of my favourite clubs, both in terms of type of cars racing & the way driving standards are rigorously maintained.

On marshal numbers, we may not have had the quantity, but we certainly had the quality. I'm beginning to think that I'd rather work with two or three professional marshals than a dozen headless chickens!

I hope you had a good journey back to Essex and thank you for giving Sean a ride round the circuit on his first visit. He assures me he will return.

CSCC meetings are always top of my list along with 750MC. This was another good one and I'm getting to quite like Anglesey too. If the wind ever dropped it would be a really nice place .

But speaking as the token headless chicken (i.e. trainee flag waver), I've decided the Corkscrew is not the easiest place to flag at, particularly when the wind keeps blowing the flags back in your face. But I'm meeting some great people and being chucked in at the deep end means I'm learning a lot rather quickly. Thanks to all for putting up with me .

A fantastic day with great racing - some fantastic action! A great day on Peel with Trevor; plenty of spinners to keep us entertained!

Thanks Kaybee,
Yep left at 18:25 stopped twice and in bed by 00:30. Up at 07:15 on the Sunday for Brands.
No probs giving a lift. If I have the time and its not an incident then I cant see a problem with it. Glad he enjoyed my driving.
I will be back up in the North West to Oulton for CSCC later in the year so will see you all then.
Stay Safe,
Richard
