Chelmsford Motor Club are proud to announce the sixth running of the Woodbridge Stages on Sunday 23rd September 2012. We are delighted to welcome Mark Ellis Motorsport as title sponsor for the event and we would like to welcome back the ACSMC, ASEMC, AEMC, Junior 1000 and Formula 1000 championships.
We intend to keep the same successful format of 6 stages totalling around 60 miles of smooth, twisty and flowing tarmac. The stage routes will be very similar to last year and a video of stage 1 will be available on the event website for those who have not been here before.
In recognition of these difficult financial times we have looked very carefully at our costs and are pleased to say we have been able to keep the entry fee at £210. There will also be the option to pay by bank transfer avoiding the costs involved with Credit Card/Paypal transactions.
In order to ensure the maximum competitive mileage for everyone, including those unfortunate enough to have car problems, we will be running a ‘practice rally’ to allow retired crews to rejoin for later stages. Scrutineering will be available on Saturday evening at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich and we have been able to negotiate a very competitive rate of £57 per room Bed and Breakfast for those wishing to stay overnight.
