alias99 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thought this would be the relevant place to post this as there are a lot of FF fans.

I am looking for results of the Zetec championships in 02/03, does anyone know where I can find these? (race results).

Yep, that's better.

Where can I find the standing for the Formula Ford EuroCup?
So far 2 of 4 events have been completed (last weekend at Spa).
Countryman Eric Lichtenstein is doing very well. It is a shame he ad mechanichal problems during Race 3 at Spa.

There are no standings as such as the Euro-Cup is not a championship. There are 4 stand alone events but 2 of them (Brands Hatch & Nurburgring) also score points in the British Championship & I believe some of them (Brands? Zandvoort?) also score points in the Dutch Championship.

Thanks for the clarification!
I find difficult to understand what is the meaning of the EuroCup then.

I think there are two objectives. One is to bring together drivers from the various European Formula Ford Championships such as UK, Netherlands, Benelux, Finland etc. Secondly they wanted to offer drivers the chance to gain experience on circuits such as Spa that they wouldn't normally race at in their own domestic championship.

The only problem is now with the field split between the few but faster ECOBoost cars and the slower but more plentiful Duratec it has become a two tier competition.

Last year was great when my son Scott competed. We had very large grids of compeitive Duratec cars and some excellent races at Brands, SPA, Zolder & Zandvoort.

Thanks for helping me understand. Sorry if my question was stupid. As you might have seen I am from Argentina and it is difficult to get information about this series and now, since there is a countryman there I would like to know more.

Let me share the great lap Eric did at the start of Race 3
Eric Lichtenstein from 6th to 1st in 1 Lap - Race 3 at Spa

Your question is not stupid so no need to apologise. Some people in the UK find it confusing.

Thanks for the clip. Have actually seen most of the action from last weekend already. My son has been working with the Jamun team who Eric drives for. They are all together at Zandvoort this weekend.

That is great.
I hope Eric can leave a good impression. Unfortunately our drivers find very difficult to get sponsorship while competing outside the country and even though he is very young and he is in a school series, he is one of our few candidates to climb up the ladder.

Wow! Great news!
And I think he is P2 for 3rd race. I wish he can get a couple of wins this weekend.
Thanks for the heads up sir!

Race 1: Cancelled per heavy rains.

Race 2: Win for Eric from pole!

Race 3: Second place for Eric.

Lichtenstein claiming the overall EcoBoost EuroCup crown thanks to his Saturday win and two fastest laps!

Good result for Eric but pity he only had 3 EcoBoost cars to compete against yeaterday and that dropped to 2 today after Williams accident in race 2.

It hasn't been much of a Euro Cup this year & I don't think EcoBoost is quite the success Ford were hoping for. Wel done to Michael Florie for his Duratec class win.
