Ginetta juniors seem intent on causing havoc as usual. Best first chicane cut I've ever seen just happened. Although someone needs to teach these kids these driving standards aren't on.
Thats a small bit of good news, considering. |

Hang on - since when was it allowed to skip the chicane and overtake, like Butcher just did on Ingram?

It's not but that sort of thing isn't sorted out during the race.

so looks like another title for Sutton as the next tracks suck for BMW ... and Turkington can't rely on Hill to help him out
Turkington 311 Sutton 305 Tingram 293 Hill 288 Hill took over the lead in the wingfoot standings |

Chilton blaming a tap for the R1 spin - looked like Butcher behind him.
Despite some spirited driving, the only BTCC penalty given was for Jackson cutting the chicane. |

Despite having a less than avantageous body shape, that Focus seems to go like a rocket in a straight line, the thing is I typed that then went to look at the speed trap figures for Thruxton and the Focus isn’t that high up, in fact the bmw looks like it had better straight line at least from the results.

Good win for Cammish and did the right thing playing the team game in R2. Cookie bounced back from his off in R1 to continue winning at Thruxton, title hopes pretty much over now though
Nice to see both PMR cars doing well after their brilliant qualifying |

Makes for entertaining viewing, but any level of consistency with dishing out penalties this year seems to be missing. Collard gets (rightly) penalised for boshing Tingram at Snetterton, but others seem to have been regularly getting away with some rather aggressive moves. |

a very interesting statistic between Turkington and Sutton
Turkington 3 wins , 4 2nd , 4 3rd Sutton 3 wins , 4 2nd , 4 3rd in a points tie (no other podiums for either) Turkington would win as he has slightly more 4rd places |

He had a puncture in R1 from contact at the chicane, hence why he was struggling to drive in a straight line for about half a lap afterwards. It wasn’t him being reckless.

It is if you are trying to maintain a race pace in the middle of the pack with a puncture.
