Ginetta juniors seem intent on causing havoc as usual. Best first chicane cut I've ever seen just happened. Although someone needs to teach these kids these driving standards aren't on.

Hang on - since when was it allowed to skip the chicane and overtake, like Butcher just did on Ingram?

For all those complaining about Jonny Palmer at Knockhill making the odd mistake, I hope you were suitable happy about Tim Harvey's comms during race 3

so looks like another title for Sutton as the next tracks suck for BMW ... and Turkington can't rely on Hill to help him out

Turkington 311
Sutton 305
Tingram 293
Hill 288

Hill took over the lead in the wingfoot standings

Tim does it quite often tbh. Fact he carried on after David corrected him I found quite funny

Chilton blaming a tap for the R1 spin - looked like Butcher behind him.

Despite some spirited driving, the only BTCC penalty given was for Jackson cutting the chicane.

Despite having a less than avantageous body shape, that Focus seems to go like a rocket in a straight line, the thing is I typed that then went to look at the speed trap figures for Thruxton and the Focus isn’t that high up, in fact the bmw looks like it had better straight line at least from the results.

Most of the lap time at Thruxton comes mid-corner, where FWD has an advantage.

Good win for Cammish and did the right thing playing the team game in R2. Cookie bounced back from his off in R1 to continue winning at Thruxton, title hopes pretty much over now though

Nice to see both PMR cars doing well after their brilliant qualifying

So far.
The investigation into the Plato v Gamble incident in the last race won't be heard until Silverstone.

Makes for entertaining viewing, but any level of consistency with dishing out penalties this year seems to be missing. Collard gets (rightly) penalised for boshing Tingram at Snetterton, but others seem to have been regularly getting away with some rather aggressive moves.

How collard never got penalised yesterday for his driving is beyond me. Ramming into people in a straight line then retaliation contact with numerous people when they'd overtaken cleanly

a very interesting statistic between Turkington and Sutton

Turkington 3 wins , 4 2nd , 4 3rd
Sutton 3 wins , 4 2nd , 4 3rd

in a points tie (no other podiums for either) Turkington would win as he has slightly more 4rd places

He had a puncture in R1 from contact at the chicane, hence why he was struggling to drive in a straight line for about half a lap afterwards. It wasn’t him being reckless.

It is if you are trying to maintain a race pace in the middle of the pack with a puncture.
