Yesterday, passing my shop I saw a Porsche Carrera GT, gorgeous Datsun 240Z (Well, I like them ) and a rather nice Dimma 205 GTi. Ok, that last isn't really that exotic or 'fantastic' but I love them and will always regret selling mine.

The one at the kit car show was the genuine article,it was parked in the clubs display area rather than the trade display area. I don't think anyone would be daft enough to build a replica!!

Yes! Lime Rock has some FANTASTIC cars driving around during ALMS weekend. We were tailing a Ferrari 308 on the way up this year on the Saturday.

I was sat outside a cafe having a cup of tea awaiting a job interview when I saw the time machine go by...yes a Delorean, the greatest crappy car ever made.
I must admit every time I see a new Nissan GT-R drive past I cant help but stare... |

My school bus goes past a house that 99% of the time has this mustang parked outside it
My friend took that picture on his phone when we walked past it one weekend. Every day I make sure I sit on the correct side of the bus just so I can get a good view of it out the window I also went to London a couple of weekends ago and saw an orange lambo murcielago with the number plate '2 5EXY'. I also saw a classic Bentley with the number plate '1 WOO'. Loved it |

While riding my bike when I was about 15, now 51, Between Reigate & Dorking, A real red wide arch proper cobra, straight through exhausts the lot, Loud Red with Gold Stripes, several years later discovered it was driven by a guy called Stephen Langton, well known historic dealer who lived in Reigate. Tragically he was killed some years later, I think at Brands in a GP historic support race, great shame, I had met him between times he was a very nice chap.
More ridiculous, a couple of years earlier, the ludicrous Rolls Merlin engined monster built and used by John Dodd, believe it was only just built at the time, he was trying it out on a dual carriageway at South Holmwwod near Dorking. I along with some mates saw this, we were in total awe!!! |

My old Boss knew him, and that car, well. He worked for the Rolls dealer where he got most of his parts...

Having entered an earlier thread, an update.
My dad worked 'on the building'. In the mid 60's during a school break, I was about 8 years old, he was excavating a huge hole in a road on an industrial site in Dorking. There was a wine merchants called Burton Sheen who also had a string of off licence shops around Surrey. Minding my own business, what comes around the corner to park, the owners son in a bright yellow road registered GT40, I have been hooked on them ever since, two mates have KVA's, fabulous cars. |

I've seen one thrashed at my local body shop, but for the first time on the road I saw a Spyker C8 cruising down the interstate last week. It may not be the fastest thing on the road, but man, what a statement it makes.

I happened to walk by Peter Wheeler's Tuscan R at Castle Combe a few years back. The paint job and overall condition of the thing was utterly magnetic.
The only other thing that had that level of effect was an original BMW CSL from the 70's after a stunning restoration job. Sitting in between the Mondeos and Nissan Micras it caused a full on double take before I realized what I was looking at. Another case of stunningly ugly and beautiful at the same time. |

on the road . . . . . M25/23 junction, travelling home, cruising at 80ish, got overtaken by an incredibly relaxed looking gentleman . . . .in a DB5.
he looked far more incredible than the chavs in an RS2000 who vaguely attempted to give chase |

Saw a 2010 Mustang parked in a small town a couple of weeks ago. Not a great deal (& didn't do a lot for me) but they are a very rare thing here, buy the time they are imported, converted to RHD and complianced they cost 3-4 times the US price.

The other day I had a Ferrari Daytona driving a few cars behind me, not something I have seen "in the wild" before.
