Christ, even F1 dosen't throw safety car periods for little stuff like that.
The F1 cars usually pull off next to a marshall's post against the wall and on a straight, and not dead center at the end of a long straight away and into a heavy braking zone.

F1 also employs cranes, something they can afford to use.

Yes it does if the rule is enforced. Heck that even works on the 16mile Nordschleife where marshalls report the cars that ignore the yellows.

Panic pitstop for Audi? Dindo looks unhappy to be replaced by McNish all of a sudden.

Did you see anyone slowing down when the PR1 Mathiason LMPC was stopped in a blind spot, still on the circuit, at the top of Turn 1? They had the local yellow out for at least a lap, but once it became clear that the car was not going to move from its dangerous position, and that safety crews needed to come onto the circuit, then they threw the full course.

What the hell was Audi thinking, not stoppping Capello under yellow?! Now they're in a really bad situation.

Very unusual from them to foul up their strategy like that...

It sounds as if Capello was not ready in time for the beginning of that stint, and hurriedly dressing caused the issue. Silliness.

What a stupid way to lose a race!
Just seen him interviewed, he looks really gutted... I believe Allan is a full lap down now. But with Mc Nish it's never over...

#1 Acura reached lap 270. Doesn't that mean that Brabham & Pagenaud are officialy champs now?

Isn't that counter to the whole Audi culture?

Well that full course was a bit overenthusiastic I'd say.

More than a touch? Is RLM being hyperbolic or is there something nuts going on with the SC?

Looks like Tucker can coast to the LMPC championship, the #95 has a 24 lap lead in the class.

SPEED obviously not interested in showing the Fassler 360 spin on the backstraight. Annoying.

Peugeot didn't bother to repair the taillight, are there no specific rules regarding that in the ALMS?
