Seems Dale Jr. has a pretty strong car in the early going. He just passed Stewart and has caught up to Edwards without too much of a problem.

Jeff Burton just grabbed second from Johnson and Montoya just overtook Biffle for 13th.

Burton has started to claw away at Gordon's lead - the gap is now down to 2.1 seconds.
EDIT - And just as I type that Gordon pulls away ever so slightly again. |

Looked like a carbon copy of Johnny Benson's crash in the 1997 race, spinning coming off turn 2.
With the difference that Bliss wasn't hit head-on after spinning around, of course. |
