I seen a Ford AU Falcon (the orange Britcar one) for £37,000 in the Classified bit of Autosprt! Bargain! And so are the 1:18 model AU's! AU Falcons are cheap over here.

Some F1 books, a few season review DVDs and I really want a scale model of the Mclaren MP4-21. It may not have won a race, but it was a great looking car

I'm after as many DVDs with onboard footage as possible, but I'd be grateful if some people here who have some of the following could tell me if the sound corresponds to the moving pictures, as there's nothing worse than being onboard through the 1st Degner and and hearing the pit-lane limiter chug-chugging away.
Lap of the Gods (2 dics) BTCC in-car/camera various 956 onboard er, have forgotten the rest.... For some reason loads of clips I've seen/heard pass the edit in a laughable state. |

All I want for Christmas is 4 new tyres for my race car, a rebuild on the engine, new panels, some filler and a new paintjob.
Not too much too ask for is it ? |

The parents are very kindly going to get me a Race of Champions ticket as a Christmas present, assuming there is no exam clash. I'll get the usual of racing books and DVDs from everyone else I suspect.

I'm contemplating asking Santa for the F1 season review DVD - I haven't had one in 6/7 years (basically when the Schumacher era started I stopped asking for them!), but a lot went on this year so I might actually want to watch this one.
And I'd love tickets to just about any Grand Prix (except Hungary ), but I don't know anybody apart from my parents who can afford them at this moment in time, so I guess I'll just have to save up. |

Failing that I'll take a 1:24 kit for the Mk2 Escort and maybe an Evo WRC as well. Or a nice 1:18 RS200. |

Don't really want anything, not fussed really.
Wouldn't mind the '95 World Rally review on DVD though. I already have it on tape, it'd be nice to upgrade it. |

That's just the way I am with christmas these days. Tend to look at it as more for the young 'uns.
Christmas dinner on the other hand is all mine. |

I already have too much motorsport stuff.
The normal smellies, whether I want them or not. Hoping for some one's that don't corrode this year! A big bottle of JD. A new gym membership. Chocolate. A new pair of running shoes. Lots of mountain bike stuff. |

She who must be obeyed has been asking what I'd like. Think I'll go for a couple of books - 'Remembering Elio', about Elio de Angelis and 'The Rodriguez Brothers'. Getting tickets for the Goodwood Festival of Speed as well. It's much better value for money than the F1 at Silverstone.

Back on topic, I got a driving experience for Xmas last year (Ginetta G20 and Porsche 911 @ Croft), and I'd quite like the same again, thank you very much. Last edited by Super Hans; 3 Nov 2007 at 21:33. |
