Yep I would agree that SOME of the FBMW guys were driving quite dangerously at Donington, but I supose it was the first car race for some of the ex-karters. Still no excuse for dangerous driving though. I also have to congratulate Richard Keen who did a great job to get a 2nd in his first FBMW race weekend and also rookie Mike Meadows who did a good job in race 1 to get the rookie win.

acf8181, were you actually there? The race was red flagged almost immediately and the Safety Car came out straight away and stopped the pack on the grid! I don't know what else could have been done.

TT

I think that acf is talking about the one that had gone head-on into the pitwall at the start leaving it broadside to the track rather than the air display at post 2. Marshals had to come out from top pit gate to run down to the car, lift it round to parallel to the track and run down to the pit exit. After two attempts the car was square on, but there was the usual amount of speed reduction by the drivers while marshals were trackside.

K3enO should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
After watching the second race there seemed to be two guys who knew what they were doing and both new to BMW, Nathan Antunes and Richard Keen, looked like they were in a class of they're own in comparison to the 2nd year boys, will be an interesting championship to follow, two highly rated drivers..

The crowd sighed at Old Hairpin as we watched him spin out. He performed well and deserved that win in the second race.
