My only concern in only posting a single thread to begin with was that not enough people would see it, I mean how many people look at this forum?
A good example being me, I never knew it existed! Is there anyway one of the mods/admin could put a "announcement" at the top of each forum with a link back to this thread? Thanks. Last edited by Sodemo; 12 May 2003 at 17:27. |

Monster,
I could put the idea around the Motorsports club here at Warwick University if we're struggling for drivers, we're just down the road from Birmingham Wheels. Depends on whether people mind a bunch of students lowering the tone. If you book at Birmingham Wheels avoid their single engine karts; rather than run two fleets, they just turn off one engine on the pro-karts...you can imagine what that does for the power to weight ratio. |

I would love to come and have a go - sounds like fun (as long as I'm not in a team that's going to take it too seriously)

We need more, and we need this advertised more too. it's no good just having it in Announcements and Feedback, cos few people if i'm honest look in here. we need it where people will see it

The thread was originally posted to several different forums (including Karting). Rather than fragment the discussion or duplicate every post the various threads were combined and moved into Announcements, with the original re-directs left in place.
It's in Announcements because that is that's the one place that should be relevent to all forum members. If you would rather I moved it to the Gravel Trap let me know, but don't blame me if it gets quickly swamped. |

If no one objects I'll move it. |

Hey, i'd love to do it, its just that I don't think the response has been enough to make it cheap enough for us to organise it.
Its strange that on a motorsport forum there aren't more people wanting to race. I guess money is the big issue, many people here i suspect can find better ways to spend £40 - £60. |

I'd be up for this - though it would depend on timing and location - I'm in the South East, I'd travel as far as say Milton Keynes.
Is turn 13 at the top of the hill? If so whether its flat or not depends on how heavy you are? |

Oi!
I live in Ankara and I'd be willing to travel to Milton Keynes but not until September! |
