I have an interesting recollection of the Pulsar... a rally bloke of some repute, with a father famous for engine work, bought one of these for local competition use...
... before they put the cage in it, fresh off the boat, they jacked the car up to take the wheels off, and couldnt open the doors.... the shell was so flexy that the twist put in it by putting the jack under the official Nissan mounting point was bending the car The team eventaully put a full house Supercar-style cage in it, but the chassis never really responded as you would expect to damper changes... it was still too soft |

Early prarie from Nissan was the same, wagon with hinged front doors and sliding doors for the rear doors, so there was no B pillar. If you jacked up a corner with both doors open, they car would sag and you could not shut them.

I presently own 2 cars , a 2002 SVT Focus (same as ST170 ) that's been modified with Koni adjustable shock/struts and a thicker rear sway bar.My other car is a 1995 Mustang GT ,that has a new built-up engine, and is supercharged. The suspension and interior have also been modified. Two weeks ago the Mustang went for dyno-tuning,and is now making approximately 445 hp and 475 lbs torque at the crank.
The Focus is my daily driver and autocross ride. The Mustang is for cruising on Saturday nights ,and Sunday afternoon drives in the Rockies. |

I just sold my 1998 Audi A4 and bought a like new 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro on ebay. I already put 5000 miles on it in the first month. However it looks like I'll be in Australia for 6 months next year so I'll have to decide what to buy down there. An old ute I'd imagine.

I'm in the final stages of preparing for the General Overhaul Car needs to be completely stripped, engine restaurated and it needs new spray and interior. Oh, and I still need to import it, still on Brit plates |

That '68 Camaro is pretty sweet. I don't have anything near that cool. My daily driver is a 1993 Ford Escort Wagon. I like driving it and I can fit a lot inside of it. I don't think I'd ever get rid of it because like it a lot even if it isn't cool. I also have a 1982 Dodge Rampage and a 1974 Dodge Charger. The Rampage is rusted beyond repair and has been sitting for a while. The Charger has a bad ground or alternator so it's temporaily laid up too, I hope to restore it some day. I've had a lot of other cars too considering I,ve only been driving for 5 years. Here are some of the others I've had:
1988 Escort- was free and a major beater, but I loved it 1984 Ford Bronco II- another beater, but again I loved it and miss it a lot 1974 International 200 Pickup- yet another beater I've also driven a lot of other vehicles between these cars, a minivan, an SUV, etc. I've had a ton of cars so far. J.D. |

You might want to get one of those pre-coloured polish bottles to get rid of the scratches. If the scratches are too deep you might want to get one of those small paint bottles (as big as a nail paint bottle, available at Halfords and so on). If you don't feel like doing that yourself, there should be companies which specialize in restoring your cars' paint layer. But that won't be cheap |
