They were at Okayama and also Zhuhai last year so it's very likely.
Speaking of "local" entries, somehow I'm still expecting to see JLOC with their GT1 Lambo in GTE-AM. |

yes, heavily restricted GT1 cars can race in GT-AM, atlas fx would run this year with one of their saleen s7r but weren't unable to update the car to the 2010 GT1 specs (the updated saleen has gone destroyed at hungaroring last year), then they tried to buy the still unsold riley corvette but this car wasn't allowed in the championship because of corvette pressure (also because i think the car couldn't run under corvette name in manufacter champ and surely riley can't be considered a manufacter)

In Autosport Nissan say they've decided their motorsport future is in sportscars after the success of the P2 program and are looking at a move to P1.
They had been considering everything from DTM to rallying. |

Wise choice. And if this means more competition at the front of the field on the medium-to-long term, I'm all up for seeing another manufacturer committing to a sportscar programme.

maybe they will start selling the 3.4 v8 engines to lola/pescarolo/zytek cars, then maybe they will modify a lola coupè and will race with their official or a supported work team. The same strategy used in late '80.

Looking at the Japanese economy, i don't think we can hope for more than 1 manufacture.
These are troubled times for some countries still, and it will still affect manufactures and their choice of budgeting. |

It's difficult to know what's going on with ORECA.
Dagys was saying Peugeot won't have customer cars in 2012, in the European press De Chaunac has been saying they've been in discussions with the manufactuer. The article talks about the ORECA 02 only being ready for 2013/14, in Autosport the other week De Chaunac said he is in discussions with three or four manufactuers. He said they were the ideal option for someone looking to get in the WEC in a short timeframe as everthing is ready to go. Eurosport's Le Mans commentary team talked about ORECA and Nissan's P1 plans numerous times, Zytek talked earlier in the year about their KERS being fitted to a manufactuers car and we have Nissan's latest announcement. |

What a dull idea, that's all can I say. Grand Prix is held on that soulless parking lot only because of Bahrainese goverment's PR needs (and money), it would be the same for WEC
