SebringMG should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Could not agree more

After all i suspect Rosberg would be quicker in an F1 car than even McNish, but who would you rather have driving a sportscar ?

Wurz would be an excellent addition - hope he can do the full season rather than just the enduros!!

No, Guy didn't test a Peugeot last week. That was wrong. That's not to say he won't though.

So next tests programmed for the Peugeot 908 are Sebring at the end of this month !!!

Strange there isn't Marc Gené among the confirmed LMS drivers present...

Wurz has just been confirmed as test and reserve driver for Honda.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/64586

I think this implies that he will only do Le Mans and not full LMS season for Peugeot.

Well I didn't expect he would run LMS anyway

But Marc Gené was also test driver for Ferrari in 2007 and that didn't prevent him to run both LMS and Le Mans

Wurz is reserve driver for Honda. He has to be on standby to replace Button/Barrichello.

Now ..... thats the greatest load of bulls balls that ive heard in awhile !!!

Both Ron Dennis and Frank Williams have nothing but the best to say about Wurz , and I suspect Reinhold Jöst too . They also said that he was the best test driver that they ever had , who can tell "exactly" that the smallest adjustment does to a car , and of course won first time out for Jöst at Le Mans in 1996 .

Yeah ..... I suppose he is crap then !!!

Has there been any indication from Peugeot as to whether or not they are building new tubs for an all new for 2008 'evo' version of last year's car, or can we expect to see the 2007 cars with development parts?

Just read a very interesting snippet on DSC.............

In a L'Equipe interview with Sebastien Bourdais, the driver revealed the extent of the problems the drivers experienced with the 908's power steering at Le Mans; "It saturated". Seems the drivers weren't able to turn in on the brakes at the chicanes, they had to brake in a straight line as they approached and then turn in.

I now wonder if this was the root cause of Bourdais's well documented 'rookie error' at the Dunlop Chicane on the first lap of the race, and just how much time did the Peugeots concede to the Audi's as a result of this problem!

No idea Bentley03...

For information, this week the drivers of the 908s are in physical preparation stage...

But no idea yet who these drivers are...

Are they getting carbon fibre implants in their feet , to help the issue then ?

We know the regulars , Gene-Minassian-Sarrazin-Lamy and rumour control reckons the other 2 are Wurz-Montagny and maybe Helary as a reserve driver .

The Peugeots were also significantly slower in the corners compared to the Audis...

www.sportmotores.es is reporting a last minute new: Ricardo Zonta confirmed during a Speed TV interview in Daytona 24hr that he will drive for Peugeot at LM. He tested 908 at Paul Ricard two weeks ago. Great news.

I wonder if he will also drive the car during the ALMS WDWT this week?

I thought it was supposed to be Montagny-Wurz for Le Mans . Maybe this is a pointer towards the rumoured 3 car effort ?
