Once again FPR have done nothing, Mr Phil keed went away in 2007 and to quote him wasnt interested in returning to the v8 world, however a few extra bucks later and he is back. The engineering and Mr Edwards team should take a good hard look at themselves, ford budget new FG's and still Frosty in 10th in Championship with half the points of Whincup?? Where are the race wins, where is the passion to knock 888 off their perch, where is the dominance?? all they seem to do is make silly, random errors that cost them race wins, how can you get pole and not win? Makes no sense!!!
The whole team is a let down to ford fans to be honest, no championship, no bathurst win and still they keep throwing money away. They really should be ashamed to call themselves a racing outfit in my opinion, for how long is Mr Edwards planning to make excuses for his team, for how long is the PR department going to churn out pathetic media releases saying how good they are? For how long will fans continue to support the uneducated guesses from the engineering department?? Seriously disgraceful effort FPR |

Brake fade is not readily noticeable to anyone outside of the driver's seat. If the car suffers brake failure, there's no need for a black flag, there's bound to be a yellow. |

Maybe Richo or the team after so long not using adjustable bars are lost. Fuel and tyres went down always the rears locking. Also if fade was happening why sit behind Murhp temps go up. Maybe the blocked off the brake ducting too much, end of the day they are lost. |

Watched the clip several times, struggling to work out what everyone's getting so heated about. Can't see Murph did anything untoward at any point. They're racing competitively, so the odd thump in the rear, while regrettable, was clearly not intentional and at no point did the driver continue to push after contact was made. Perhaps a little over-aggressive, but really nothing serious. Final biff resulted from locked rears so a mistake. I'm sure we've all made one or two of those in our lives.
I'm more concerned about the 888 car nearly wiping out the FPR under yellow flags, now that is worthy of comment. |

DJJ, now your obsessive crusade over TKR has evaporated, are you looking for a new target?
Maybe you need to get involved in V8 Supercar for real, and just maybe you'll understand that despite best efforts, some will have great weekends, some will have shockers. You rarely have anything good to say, so why not spend your time seeking something that makes you happy. |

Woolley...all I saw was an experienced Murph, racing cool ,when a lesser steerer may have succumbed to the presure.Made this race memorable IMO. T8/FPR... thats what they do, and seem to get away with. Now if it had been Murph..........? |

Bit hard to ping someone for "nearly" doing something, although I agree it was too close a call under yellows. But what about Rick Kelly going off after Courtney beached his car in the sand (per youtube clip linked in the other thread) - surely losing control and spinning off under yellows should be a penalisable offence!

As much as it kills me to say it, Rick may have to be forgiven due to the debris Courtney may have left on the racing line.
That said, it might be worth a quiet word behind the sheds...... |

Brake fade is bull**** the car had no balance. It was a set up problem. Did you not see the hit threw turn 3 or 4 where he lost his headlight. |

As for the yellow, he would have already been at speed, and it would have only been a local yellow, which is probably why he locked the rears (to slow for the yellow) |
