Pete,

1) You must be desperate for the CAKE if you're off posting the tickets at that hour of the night! - but thank you.

2) Far be it for me to say which birthday Bill is celebrating this year, let's just say he will have the official right to push his way to the front of any queue (especially at the post office) - so that's us sorted for breakfast!

With 160ish of us can we work in shifts? Atleast tthere would still be some of us in a (fit?) state to take on the stock hatch final!

Better mention that I checked out the CAKEs in Waitrose today and was not impressed. Anyone got a suggestion as to "best buy" - although I think catering for 170 cake eaters is not on...... but will obviously want to buy at least 2....!

What a disaster!!!! Just gone to the wardrobe to see if overalls were as dirty as I thought they were and somehow they have SHRUNK over the winter!!! Has this happened to anyone else? By the way I haven't got my tickets yet.

Joyce,
if you're an average marshal size (extra large!), I could bring a spare pair for you.
Will we also be getting fire training, in order to put out all the candles on the cake

You are definitely on the list and tickets went out with the first lot but... it is Lincolnshire so we have to allow a day or two more.
Will have to advise Shelagh that you won't want cake to ensure that problem of shrinking overalls is not compounded.

I must be the only marshal that has had to by smaller overalls in the winter. But that is because my 1st set were donated someone a few sizes larger than me

Just checked on the number of entries my poor maths makes it's 186. Almost as many drivers as there are Marshalls going.

Excellent! We can have one each and any left overs can go in the pot for donington!

Both mine and Clairs overalls have appeared to have grown over the winter too! Hmm could there be a strange breed of thinner healthier marshals mutating from somewhere?

To anyone who has volunteered for pits: Tea, coffee, hot choccy and jelly babies will be available - bring a mug! (for the drinks, not the jelly babies!)
