Mallala F3
I was in Tanunda for work on Thursday/Friday and had organised to stay for the Mallala meeting. Got out there Sunday (pi**ing down Saturday didn't go).
The F3 races were the best on the card, a class field and Tander, Carati (spelling?) and Riendler were most impressive. Matt Sofi is a goer as well. Sports sedans second and the HQ's had some good racing right through, Paul Morris created some havoc! Shame the F3 final was so late in the day. Why they ran the drift cars is beyond me , used up a lot of track time that seemed to run the meeting behind but I thought it must be a money thing (the Drifters were paying to be there). Then when leaving the track noticed the big sign that said that there was a big drift meeting at Mallala the following weekend promoted by Mallala so pre promotion, the penny dropped. Good effort F3. Wet Weather racing and 09 field
With another wet race meeting all the championship contenders fell off during the wet Sunday. The 17 year old Tate showed plenty of car control for rookie. I think he was second race one and was up the front in race two.
Who will be running next season if Tander and Windslow are gone? |

It's about time James raced in Europe again! Two F3 titles and the FR V6 title in the past 3 years!

He is looking for a V8 Supercar drive i do believe... He has done everything right, even if the championships he has won are probably not rated as highly as others, he has still won them
