The timetable that Dan has listed is still showing on the Goodwood website, but it differs from the one sent out with the invitations in respect of the sequence of the races.

My list says:
Saturday
Race 1 - Goodwood Trophy (GP cars 1930-1950)
Race 2 - Chichester Cup (FJ rear engine drum brake)
Race 3 - Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy - part 1 (bikes 1950-1954)
Race 4 - St Mary's Trophy - part 1 (Saloons 1950-1959)
Race 5 - Whitsun Trophy (Sports racers 1963-1966)
Race 6 - Madgewick Cup (Sports racers under 2.5 litres 1955-1960)
Race 7 - Gordon Trophy (F1 1954-1961)
Race 8 - Freddie March Memorial Trophy (Goodwood nine hours cars 1952-1955)

Sunday
Race 9 - Fordwater Trophy (prod. based sports and GT cars 1960-1966)
Race 10 - Richmond Trophy (Front engined GP cars 1950-1960)
Race 11 - Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy - part 2
Race 12 - St Mary's Trophy - part 2
Race 14 - RAC TT Celebration (GTs 1960-1964)
Race 15 - Glover Trophy (1.5 litre GP cars 1961-1965)
Race 16 - Sussex Trophy (Sports & sports racing cars 1955-1960)

But of course - this is still provisional until the finals arrive in a couple of weeks
Brian, as far as I know this is the correct timetable. I spoke to Goodwood about it and they say that this is correct, not the one on the website.

Hmmm..literally just got a phone call from Goodwood five minutes ago....Seems I am a now a late entrant ('shoe-in'?) for the Fordwater Trophy

Don't even mind too much being a 'second choice' entrant for one of (admittedly) less 'glamorous' races, as it should be good fun whatever (despite what JR says).

Hopefully will keep the wife happy as she can get her party frock on - and hopefully she'll keep this image in her mind when I remind her that I'm off a few days after Goodwood for the Spa 6 hours!

Anyone got the telephone number for Relate?

James

Ah-ha.....another ten-tenther in the Fordwater, and what do you mean "less glamorous" - hope you're not describing the drivers

I always wondered why you never see them in the same room at the same time! In true Private Eye fashion, 'are they related? I think we should be told'....

I am landing from NY at 6:30 Sunday morning and still deliberating over whether I'll be able to make it home, get changed and down to Goodwood in time for a day's racing! I love this event and don't want to miss the RAC TT.

Yup, sounds like a fine idea!

Guess we could arrange a meeting point somewhere for tea and a slice

So, who's up for meeting up?:

SZRacer (James)
Delta (Iain)
?

James - include me on the list.

I know that a few ten-tenthers will be spectating so there could be a fair turnout.

We will be parked up on the Lavant Bank with the Austin 7 (Septimvs) in the members' enclosure for all three days.

All Ten Tenthers are more than welcome to join us for a quick noggin or two!!!

By the way, look out for my grandson on the Sunday - he will be wearing green Jaguar racing overalls with a Ten Tenths Badge on. It would really make his day if you could just say hello!!

Suggest if you are up for meeting up, you copy the list and add your name, as I'm too indolent to keep updating the list...!

And no James I do not knock the place these days and if it floats your boat get on with it as it is one of the top Historic Events anywhere.Extremely well managed and organised .
No chance of us going back with cars but would go to watch if I were in UK.Don't mind seeing all the others spend their money!
