CorvetteC6R should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Good race, although a bit dissapointed! Congrats to AM, should be one hell of a battle at lemans. Wish the vettes didn't have the bad luck they did, but, they have had it pretty good for the past few seasons! One AM did have the fastest time, but overall the pace of the Vettes was better, but being an endurance race that is only part of the equation and AM got the job done!

SPRacer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I just returned home from Sebring and it was an incredible experience. The GT1 cars were at each other hard all day and it was great to watch in person. The #4 vette seemed unstoppable. Too bad he had contact with the Porsche, but as someone just said, that's part of endurance racing.

Indeed, fantatic race and fantastic weather to go with it. I saw the Aston at Winter Test and was impressed, but was again impressed during the race. They would hurl into the Tower Turn whooping on downshifts and with the unloaded right front locking, and then blast out of the corner and off, screeching away. As good as Labre's 550 on sound. Made up for no Judd V10.

I can't believe both Job cars failed.

The TVR's were great, but I am a huge Spyker fan now! The cars looked great, the team was there for the experience of being in a big event. The crew was super friendly, their engine guy taking time to have a chat.

It is an amazing event.

I hope Rob Dyson finds a weapon that will reward their efforts. Field is now talking, in Tampa Tribune, of his Lola becoming P1 soon. Any speculation if Dyson will upgrade at the same time?

Mazda coming back? WOW!

Is it over for another year? Groan. Don't think I will make April Atlanta race, double groan, but preparing for Petit. Strongly looking at some other ALMS races this year as well.

Good to see In2Racing (GT2) were still running at the flag.

absolutely fantastic experience as usual this year although it was by far the best Sebring i've attended (i've attended 2001-2003, 2005) due to the quality of the teams and the sheer amount of on-track action in every category... it was awesome!!!

Hey guys ! Just to let you know, I put a gallery online with 75 Sebring race images. Not that I've been there (duh......), but our American friend Dennis has attended the race and took some nice pictures.

An american fan (Lyle James) posted links to his own videos on the french forum MotorLegend ; short, but worth a look, IMHO : AM+Vette during practice...

i have over 30 clips from the Sebring race with fantastic sound that i would be willing to post if someone has some webspace to offer.

there are some really great clips of the Champion vs. Dyson battle as well as the amazing race between the GT1 cars during the first couple of hours (with about 7 cars of different makes all going through Turn 1 and passing each other or going through nose to tail)

Sportscar Pros talk about the Kristenson / McNish battle for the last hour or two as follows:

'Arguably the two finest sportscar drivers of the era, each in the pre-eminent car,the Audi R8, gave an exhibition of flat out driving through traffic at night rarely matched in history. If you were there you will know what you saw........if you were not then shame on you.'

It looked great of TV, some of the in car, and helicam shots of them going through the traffic were amazing.

To give justice to Audis drivers, at Sebring or in LMES, they always gave the best, and never tried to "arrange" a result, fighting 'till the end...

Yes, I have been somewhat amazed that they have been allowed to fight like they have-some of the 'rules' of sportscar racing have been rewritten, this fighting instead of bringing them home in formation. All to the credit of the teams and the drivers for doing this, as it is good fun for the fans.

Like them or not, the Audi R8's really will deserve their own chapter in the great sports car book.

Happy Snapper has lots more but I don't think he's planning to put them all up on the web site (so many pics so little space....), if you're looking for something specific let one of us know and he can have a look for it.
