I guess they've had enough of the BS. Besides, remember the weight/rule changes to all Saleens after Silverstone? All of a sudden, they found it a challenge to even finish races, let alone be competitive, at least in Full Speed's case.

Yeah. Very disappointed they won't finish the season but with all the crap that's gone on, Im not suprised.

It's a downer but you have to figure that anyone bankrolling this whole expedition is now facing the reality that their ROI is shrinking to nothing, the loss of the Budapest win surely the last straw (justified or not). With the Saleen grandfathered, however, one has to wonder whether they will be back in 2010. It would be nice - quite frankly K+K has since their 08 Brno entry demonstrated a very high standard for their entries and that is something sorely needed to oppose Vitaphone.

KplusK will be back with their GT3RSR at Paul Ricard, hopefully with Sharp and Wendlinger-probably not though.

Appearantly the Saleen ist not being grandfathered, but Matech asked for the permission to use the Saleen's engine in the Ford GT to make up for their lack of power.
