Thanks for all your kind comments guys and girls.
Its taking time to sink in that i did win even though i thought i had thrown it away on the final lap at north bend!
Not bad for an ex minicross car.

Goodwood Revival meeting : Nick Swift flying in qualifying and put his Cooper S on pole for Sundays Race by over a second. Oliver Gavin, in the same car , won Saturday's race. High attrition rate in todays race so it will be interesting to see how many make it out for Sunday. Some great Mini(?) names from the past & present out today - Baldwin,Sollis,Altonen,Rouse,Cleland,Poole,Watts,Needel,Mass and Jumping Jeff Williamson amongst the 30 entries. All info from TSL timing.

goodwood

this event is always fantastic and made even better by some ace racing , especially in the minis , seen as i only live ten minutes away , i went down thursday afternoon, and all three days because it would have been rude not , thanks to some great friends with an excess number of complimentary tickets , bring on silverstone with the long straights

Looks like it will be a fine and sunny Snetterton, so you can leave the wets at home, Rob.
Best of luck to James and yourself and don't forget to let us all know how you both got on.

We were keen but missed the cut, would've got our entry in earlier but were investigating severe oil leak after Lydden. KJW had an entry in but he suffered a lot of damage at Lydden so think his turning up is dependant upon how the repairs go.

I see Endaf has put his car up for sale.
Anyone know what his plans are for 2010?
Would be great to have him back for the fastest mini race.
I hope it happens again next year, i loved racing all minis.

Not us unfortunately Rob - the sows ear has been put away for the winter after the oil leak that developed during its last outing. Dad has stripped it down and we're happy all is ok but not worth rebuilding for one outing.
