Sounds interesting Rob - got any more details, is it new or old Nurburgring?

Not to sure of details but we leave thursday morn, test day friday with offical practise about tea time friday eve.
2 races on saturday of 25min each. Party sat night, restday sunday home monday.
Think there are 6 minis with Gerald Dale Motor sport stickers, in our convoy.

25 minutes would be about two and a half times round the old circuit so I'm guessing it's the modern you're using - have a great weekend either way

We are racing on the Nurburg GP circuit not the Nordschleife. But as we are there we may make use of the opportunity and take a leisurly trip round the Nordschleife in the tow vehicles.

Would be rude not to, it's a great experience, I went last year. Bit like riding a rollercoatser blindfolded...

Ive been round the old circuit in my road Mini, very good fun.
After this weekend, we are going to have a good look at the mini to see if it will survive next season!

In answer to chris and Tris, our experiance at the Nurburgring was fabolus.
If my memory serves me right.
They raced on the GP circuit.
53 starters 27 of which were 5 port minis.( no multi vavels or 8 ports allowed much fairer in my opinion)
one practise and two races of 25 minuites each for the same entry fee as your local circuit.
Overall positions as follows.
Gerald Dale 1st ( two out right wins)
Ken Welch 3rd
Phil Harvey 6th
Gordon scott 16th
Gemma Morris 25th ( first lady)
Intrestingly the rolling start although 53 starters was well compact probably the best that i have seen.
4 a breast racing through lots of bends and no body contact.
I think all the 19 team members that went want to return.
The only extra expense we incurred was the ferry.
As my previos comment we were looked after very well .
Our thanks go to the British Car Trophy and Gerald Dale for his guidance.

I think Rob has said it all, a fantastic weekend racing on one of the best circuits in Europe. Thanks to Gerald, Leigh and our German BCT friends for always making us so very welcome.
