I've arranged to leave my car in for some suspension setup work and need to get from them to Silverstone for 12:00 to do the afternoon installation laps. It's just me all my gear is coming up by other means.
I'm coming up in time for the installation laps, so I could divert to pick you up if you need me to - I'd have to figure out how to pack my car and leave the front seat free though!!

I can if my geography isn't well off the mark - I'm travelling from Esher (which I think is in Surrey!) to Silverstone so I think I could get you. Will just be me in the car as the camping kit is also coming by other means. (I could probably take some of your kit from Bristol ish if that helps?)

hey guys, i know this is a long shot and having seen the rest of the thread and the social group about as likely as a hot english summer, but is there anyone with a spare friday or saturday guest pass who would be willing to donate them to an unemployed skint fangirl? i'm more than happy (nay, it's compulsory) to provide an ice cream or cold drink shuttle service to post during the day, or to bring some beer or bbq fodder to the campsite for anyone kind enough to assist

I'm not playing this year but I wish everyone a hugely great fantastic time.
A word for those doing Copse (inside).
It's brilliant. I thought it was going to be a duffer, but last year all the cars were doing practice starts a yard from the armco on the pit exit road. I could have touched their helmets. And the noise !!!!!!!!!! Wow!
Have fun, y'all. Play safe.
Best
Phil

Pit wall 2 for me and camping slot G9! A flat spot for a change, normally on the side of Everset down in the 17's to 21's!

I stopped doing the GP after 2002 (for various reasons) but this year - as it is "possibly" the last at Silverstone - I decided to treat my MUM (Oulton Park regulars will know who I mean) as she has been cross with me since she stopped being able to use my spare ticket and camp with us every year.

Anyway, I've got us a "hostility" (sorry, hospitality) package on the Friday (she might be my mum but she gets the cheapest option) and we will be somewhere in the vicinity of Woodcote Gap - so let me know if you are marshalling there and we'll see what largesse we can spread around - I've paid for it so why don't you enjoy it?

(BTW: When I booked, the guy asked if I knew the circuit and where Woodcote Gap was! I said I did, but only at night when delivering PIES ! (hope you all realise that is my "pielady moniker"?!) I never mentioned my loss of memory regarding Brooklands the other year - why spoil the fact when I got a 25% discount? - although still too expensive, you can never spoil your mother too much imho - and especially not mine)
