As far I know the spec-chassis for 2012 DTM specs has been designed and projected by the three german manufacturers

That would be a big blow to Super GT if Honda withdrew the championship. To me, the GTA should make a revision on the ruleset, including the chassis tub.

Of course, revising it meant that there's no chance for a crossover with DTM.

Still, having 7 Lexus teams is too much!
Having 6 Lexus teams is enough already. But now if DOME racing (#18) might transfer to Lexus next season, then Dome Racing (#18) maybe have the good choice to run BMW in GT500 if the Lexus Team is dissatisfied to join the team due to the many team of it and Toyota also have some connection to BMW or Team Studie (#7) will stepped up to GT500 here next season or both.

Yes DTM chassis must be on FR cars others are not accepted. But GTA will allow the NSX to run GT500 but only be permitted to take part in domestic races and not international races.

Here is the reference:
http://www.racecar-engineering.com/n...e-regulations/

If Honda withdrew the championship of SUPER GT for GT500 class. Don't worry they also have participating GT300 class here and they plans to develop a GTE racing version of the NSX to run at the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2015 onward and Honda expects to race it in America - likely the American Le Mans Series for next year.

I don't think Dome Racing would field a BMW GT500 car for next year, so my bet is that they'll race in the GT300 class for 2015 since they're responsible for the GT86 car in that class.

Worst case scenario if they didn't go to the second class, they might forced to quit racing for good.

But there is the bad news for Honda here. There is one of the overseas locations (Thailand) here so Honda might be withdraw from GT500 for next year especially in 2016 due to the rescheduling the SUPER GT venue including scheduled to race in Johor Grand Prix (Malaysia) and Phlipines racing circuit as well.

Come to think of it, the GTA's handling of expanding Super GT to Asia is sloppy.

Previously, they handled well when they host a race in Sepang. But now, it seems that Super GT might get relegated to hosting races inside Japan after failing to secure a race in Korea.

So even though this year's season have the best racing experience, GTA failing to expand outside of Japan is the most embarrassing thing they did next to DTM, which is getting worse day by day.

Why would Honda withdraw from GT500? Theyre just coming into their own and have just won at Fuji! Theres 4 other Honda teams besides DOME. No way Honda drops out because one squad may go Toyota.

The problem is that DOME has been responsible for designing and building the entire JGTC/SuperGT Honda fleet of cars since 1997...the other teams just take delivery and race them...

In 1997 Dome Racing Team as MUGEN+DOME Project
The machine name is avex DOME MUGEN NSX

But DOME had been responsible for designing and building the BMW V12 LMP 2000 version in Le Mans Racing. So DOME might be use BMW if Team Studie will stepped up to GT500 class or Lexus Team is dissatisfied to join the team due to the many team of it or Lexus team does not need them for designing and building the Lexus RC-F race car because Team Tom's (#36 & #37) will be responsible for designing and building the entire JGTC/SuperGT Toyota or Lexus fleet of cars since 1995

Here this is the BMW V12 LMP MODIFY 2000 (modify by DOME) pictures:
and this is the website here:

Again, thanks for the effort. With the near-constant commentary this must be a big time sink!

Do you have to time the translations as well, or is that handled by youtube?

I translate, transcribe and sync it

And yeah it takes quite a bit of time, around 3-4 hours per hour of video.
The Suzuka 1000km might be the end of me hahahaha

From the bottom of my heart thankyou for all the effort and time you put into this. I love SuperGt but don't speak Japanese and half the fun of watching a race is understanding what the commentators say so this is brilliant. Kudos!

Just finished watching Fuji and I'll echo what everyone else has said - incredible work!

I've muddled through the series with Japanese comms for the last couple of years and figured the quality of racing transcends the need for commentary.

But having watched with the subtitles it massively added to my understanding of the action and highlighted things I hadn't even considered. It's not a simple championship to follow so any help like that is greatly received. It also made me laugh quite a bit too. So thanks again.

Are we sure its DOME who are responsible for all the NSX's? I think Honda is more than capable of doing it on their own. I also thought this year that Honda was the constructor, not DOME? Ill have to do some research.

Accroding to Autosport web,
Masaaki Bandoh says that team Cars Tokai/Mooncraft (#2) might introduce the Mother chassis car next season. It will be a midship layout car (not GT-86!).
