sorry if i maybe ask an obvious question, but if i understood correctly the LMP2 regulation will change in 2015 (or it was 2016?).
Does this car follow already the new regulations? AFAIK it should be compliant to LMP1 new rule set, although somehow modified from the original concept to be cost capped and to somehow face the lower power of LMP2 engines... Does this make it also eligible to the new LMP2 regulations? |

As far as I know, P2 regs will be stable until the end of 2016.

It will be very interesting to see if the second car gets filled with Nissan drivers. I think that will indicate how involved they are in this.
Maybe they'll do similar to last year and make a formal announcement regarding their partner teams. This year it was Greaves and ADR-Delta. So let's see. Maybe they are all fighting to help run a P1 operation down the road? They all have manufacturing capability of one sort of another. |

The more I look at the S103, the more I like what I see. It seems to have quite a few differences to other LMP2 designs. The sidepod configuration and nose design seem to be good ideas for a slippery car for Le Mans.
Really hoping this all materializes and has good results for both Strakka and Dome. |

If you look at the Dome and see the DeltaWing, I don't see how anyone can ever trust any of your perceptions ever again. There really is no similarity.

How are those radiator intakes legal, sitting so far inside from the total width?

The "handlebar" is only on that side. I have to wonder if it's some type of flow conditioner for a single exit exhaust.

It is unlikely to have a single exhaust exit if it is running a flat plane crank V8. Which it is.

What's fugly about it? It's a legit looking p2 car,it's side pods are unique and it's rear legality panels/ fenders are too,the headlights look like a quick render and they need work.it has a good looking green house area that looks nothing like the dwings ugly dome monoquok.

Headlights haven't been Dome's strongpoint as of late, haven't they? The S102 also suffered from 1980's headlight dissaster.
Come on Dome and Strakka, nowadays, the possibillities of using LED's and what not should make it possible to shape the headlights into something attractive or at least menacing? |

I like the way they look. Not every lmp should have the whole front fender taken up by a light cluster.

Does anybody know how wide will the new Strakka-Dome LMP2 car be?
Being initially designed on the 2014 LMP1 regulation, it should be 1900mm wide and it should have also the new cockpit dimensions (this can be seen also in pictures, but the same is not valid for car width). |
