Isn't James Courtney a ford contracted driver?? He replaced Lowndes for the FG unveiling if i recall due to lowndes clsh of his vodafone contract which states him to be in a vodafone race suit.

Speaking of Courtney, it was rather amusing to watch him in the celebrity Australian Fishing Championships on tv the other day. He was in it, along with Matthew Hayden, Blair someone-or-other, and Steven Johnson.

There was a bit of niggle between Johnson and Courtney. It was filmed last year, and I wonder if they knew at the time that they would be team mates this year?

Courntey won it too, even though Johnson pre-fished...

Prost could even bring an underperforming SORF for Morris to employ as a team-mate then publicly sack later in the season.

Ralf Schumacher is about to be unemployed. He could come over here and suck too and gets lots of publicity while doing so.

Imagine though if Morris did get a celebrity international driver, how that driver would react to Morris' critique-via-the-media style of driver management?

I am not sure Mr Morris has ever said anything in the media about his drivers that he has not said to them privately

i respect Troy heaps. i don't mean Troy is a hasbeen infact i would class Troy in the first category, he has only just retired so really he is currently a star, what he did in WSBK was amazing MotoGP he never got to show his talent due to the bikes he had until the 1 of race for Duc replacing Sete. no matter what category you class him he is a great bloke.

i would kind of class Villeneuve in the "hasbeen" category he was great in F1 then that went south and now he is in the wilderness.

wannabe's well there are plenty of them floating around at the moment to pick up with plenty of cash.

He should hire Russell Crowe. That would light up the internal team relationships into something truly entertaining!

I get the feeling if Mr Crowe tried his "I love you mate" strategy with a few in the team, he may go from the vertical position to the horizontal, thanks to some well placed pressure point manipulation

Here's a spanner in the works, how's about Paul Morris hiring The Hoff? David can bring publicity, fame, fourtune, internet cult status and an industructable Pontiac Trans-Am named KITT. I wonder if turbo boost and pursuit mode would be seen as an advantage?
