Any thoughts on the last round being at Zandvoort? It's pretty old circuit but I quite like the style of it. Should suit rear engined cars with some of the slower corners I think.

indicatively values for cars like nissan gtr, mp4-12c gt3 that didn't take part at the fia gt3 bop (blancpain uses a similiar bop) are 1300kg and 500hp. But who knows the truth.... in my opinion mclaren and nissan run with unrestricted engines because without a combined test is impossible to determine the right size of restrictors for this reason in my opinion these cars run with an electronic rev limit (ex. 7000rpm for mp4-12c / 6500 for nissan gtr) and a lowered detemined boost pressure. The 1300 kg should give a fair and right advantage for regular season cars.

IIRC both ran in an 'Invitation' class in their British GT appearances, rather than being classified in the main GT3 class

With this news of the Camaro GT3, I'm wondering about Ford moving into the category too with the Mustang. The GT is already in there, but it's not doing so hot in FIA GT3 and it's already out of production. I'm thinking they might make a move when they release the next Mustang, since they'll be ditching the live-axle. The current Mustang (GT500) ran as a GT4 car, but the next one might be good enough to make a GT3 car.

Don't get too excited about this Camaro project just yet...
So far three companies have been looking at/working on a GT3 Camaro, only one of them has officially filed a request at the FIA to homologate its car...and that wasn't the one YACO Racing intends to use. |

I saw them at Portimao and they provide interesting racing bu i remains to be seen the effect of the Blancpain and the GT World Championship which Ratel seems willing to make work no matte how, which could be at the expense of some GT3 grids.

After following the link on the video, I came across some images of the car. |

I take it this one isn't the one Yaco will be using?

Nope, this is not the Reiter prepared car you see on that movie and pictures.

hope one of these Camaro projects goes ahead, it's a great looking car for a bit of diversity
Has anyone heard of any Schubert plans for next year? I fear the NfS sponsorship will be no more and one of the more iconic GT3 liveries will disappear with it. |

So if Yaco are doing GT3 and the ADAC GT Masters next year then who is doing this Camaro, and where do they plan on racing it? GTWC, Blancpain or any other national championships?
Either way I'm interested to see how this turns out. |

Just came across this.
It's the website for the Fastforward Motorsport Camaro, with a few images of it being built. I guess we need to wait and see what happens over the winter. |
