MIRRORS IN MOTORSPORT (DMN)

We have regs in DMN about allmost everything exept mirrors, should they be of a certain size and shape to ensure rear and side vision and therefore saftey?? There maybe regs in the Blue Book anyone know?

One mirror of at least 50 sq cm and there is a rule saying you must use them, G76 I think.

It was a rhetorical question (sort of). One mirror 50sqcm nothing about side mirrors, some cars in the paddock have such small side mirrors they cant possible see cars on the inside or outside. I feel larger mirrors would add to saftey, this weekend brings it all to the surface...Perhaps we need some guidelines for side mirrors??

Copperbottom has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Graham, there could be mirrors the size of a jumbo jet fitted and some drivers wouldn't see anything coming (I speak from experience, well big mirrors/no see),It's more about drivers being aware of the space around them and anticipation of what other drivers are going to do.
