My New (almost new) Car
Hi guys.
This is my first trip into the Road Car Forum. I am in the process of buying a new car, new to me that is. It is a Subaru Impreza, 2 liter, non-turbo Automatic. It is a gray import, 1995 M plate with 26 thousand on the clock. I know many people do not like them, but I have always wanted one, and this is too good to turn down. Problem being, I am only 19, and the best insurance quote I have so far is £1,700. I have only been driving for 9 months! Anyone know any good insurance companies for lads in my situation? |

Lee, I don't think there's a lot you can do about this! I've been through all this before, my insurance is always high because I'm young and like nice new cars, and seem to end up buying something almost every year!
Some of the small companies in the back of Autosport do special deals, but I don't think there's a lot of hope. Nice car though, so go enjoy it! |

no way out, i fear.
i do believe if you do the advanced driver training programme it gets you a discount on insurance, but i doubt it's enough to make a really big difference. |
