That new car smell is a killer
Scientists have found that the beloved new car smell is no good for you. What next, are they going to tell us that milk causes cancer. Or is this their april fools day joke delayed by government red tape. See the story at csiro

"total volatile organic compounds?
Who dreams this stuff up? It just goes to show that nothing is good for you and everything is bad for you and there's someone out there somewhere being paid exhorbitant sums of money to prove it. |

That's absolutely correct... huge sums of money to make news that will sell newspapers and give good promos for the TV newsmongers...
Of course, breathing fumes in new cars is not something I normally have to worry about. |

To be honest I think that it would have to be the smell of any new Ford that would want to make someone keel over.

Now, now, Colin.
It's one thing to be a common as muck Holden supporter, it's another to advertise the fact. Merry Christmas... Moffat P.S. I see you are still smarting from the '77 Bathurst thing. |

And I just bought a new car...
Firstly the tests that were run were not statistically valid as they only tested 3 makes of car. Secondly, what did they think created the smell? |
