Pembrey 7th & 8th June

I'm off to Pembrey this weekend for the Jag doo!
Any other ten-tenthers be there?
Is there anything to do in the evenings down there/up there.
Am I far from the beach?

Aah!! so that's where you're going. I wondered why your name wasn't on the list for Saturday. Will Mrs Obs be marshalling?

See you on the 21st.

You are not far from the beach and the Country Park. You really need to go into Llanelli for anything resembling a nightlife

Hiya Obs, I'll be there.

Should be quite a good weekend. It's raining here in Wales at the moment.

At the circuit there is the Formula One bar which serves ok food and ok beer.

See you around.

Unfortunately sometimes sad but true, especially considering some of the JCC meetings I attended last year.

Well, I went to the JCC doo at pembrey and what a great weekend I had. Good grids, some nice motors, even nicer weather (Got burned on Saturday) and some nice people to work with. I was given the role of Chief Flag and just a couple of minutes before the racing started in the afternoon, was informed by a Clerk that I would also be the starter. Having never done this before I was a little nervous......what if the lights don't work?.....what if I hold up the wrong boards.....what if.....what if....oh stup up and get on with it I thought! Anyhow, with the help of two or three young ladies I think we managed to pull it off....as they say in wales!

The most amusing part of the weekend though was when a Caterham(?) driver came past the start/finish line at full chat and threw a dead sparrow (?) out of his car......just missed the butties!
Thanks to all who were there and made for a good racing weekend!

It is a long way though! (Unless you live in Llanelli of course)
It was 11pm when we got home last night, and with two small children to keep amused, it was pretty hard going for Mrs Observer & myself.
