By the way, I'm sorry to hear ZIP has gone, especially when you consider that out of 2 fields of around 12 drivers, a third (Spencer, Morrow, Hogan, Bridgman, Turvey, Doran, Fisher, Lewis) have progressed to higher formulas. Seems to me it was doing the job Martin Hines intended.

Its a shame, Martin put a lot on the line tryin gto make it work. He has been very good to me and my brother over the years, a true gent.

Racing the zips was the most fun i have had in a racing car, i remember when i turned up for a race at Castle Coombe Ryan and I had brand new cars. They were so ugly they became strangely gracefull, and you could smash into each other, they would bend but they never broke.

I remember once at snet in the rain i was on the edge of coram on the faster wet line, not going particularly fast, i touched the white line which caused un-correctable understeer sent me onto the grass, i accelerated on the wet grass and whacked the barriers at a fair speed. I drove it back to the pits all be it with full opposite lock and just a few new bits and a polish.

Its produced some good lads too.

Great days

i have a thousand boring tales if there is an audience.

Congratulations to Ryan Lewis winning at Donington. Two poles two wins two fastest laps.
