Alex E should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Old green log book....

Hope someone can help.
My late father bought a car with the intention of restoring it in 1972. As it was not roadworthy he never drove it and it sat around for many years. When he passed away it came to me but to this day is still more or less as it was back then. Usual problem of restoration cost being probably more than the car would be worth.
But, the log book is the old green one and still in the previous owners name.

My question is how can I now register it in my name. Anyone done this before ?

Alex

I had the same problem with an Anglia that I brought years ago and never registered it in my name.
When I tried a while later I was told that the registration number had been sold by the DVLA and I hadn't any claim to the vehicle.
Eventually I broke it up as it was beyond restoration and never heard any more.
