Quite a shame that Farnbacher is stuck in the AM entry.

It does look that way, I guess possibly acting as a fence....but also probably needing material to reinforce too.

It is a lovely livery.

I guess its just beefing up , as a fence is suppose to direct airflow , but their aint no point because of the hole ?

I don't remember which thread it was, but a while ago there was a discussion about Honda's involvement where I pointed out that none of the HPD's were carrying a Honda logo, probably because Honda wouldn't want to be seen losing against Toyota. Someone then posted the preliminary render of the JRM car (which had the logo)...and now it's gone .

Yep, it says HondaRacing too.... the first time I´ve ever seen that on any HPD.

More visible factory involvement would certainly be a good thing.

Guess that honda racing on the fin must have slipped past some people's eyes.

Or they think it's not the same as a badge on the nose that was on the cars last year and now isn't . What's on the fin (see here at the top of the page) probably just replaces the HPD logo the cars used to have...I'm not sure that implies more factory involvement. I'd certainly welcome it, but I don't expect much.

I never said it represented anything more than a Honda badge. But people are seemingly thinking that Honda isn't wanting to put their name on the car. But it's still there. Badge or no badge.

Allan in a Porsche never seemed right. He's driving a Ferrari in British GT and ran one at Bathurst.

But no Daniels is odd.

Joël Camathias was quick in GT Open last year (in a Ferrari) teaming with Soheil Ayari. Actually helped Ayari win the title.

Just for Sebring, Binnie has won LM24 P2 class while Camathias took 2006 LMS GT title.

What is Simonsen doing anyway? He's way too good to be out of a drive but it looks like the end of Farnbacher's program has caused just that.

He's jumping in pretty much every GT series around. I think his full-time ride this season should be in British GT actually.

I thought he would be missing Brit GT rounds again this season, maybe for V8 Supercar enduros again? Anyway, he is definitely in for another year of hopping about the globe driving all sorts of stuff again. I wonder whether he might yet appear on the Sebring list...3rd driver for an ESM car?
