Yeah, that first win is always the sweetest. It was an excellent race. Lots of good action, specially towards the end.

But some of it was also very amusing. The best laughs came at the very beginning, when Rubby Gordon got hisself black flagged before the green flag had even dropped for passing Jeff Gordon before he was allowed to, and at the end, when Rubby Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were yelling "F*** you!" at each other on live TV, after a bump and spin on pit road. I wonder what NASCAR will have to say about that?

Last year a similiar incident happened between Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart on pit road after the race, and Stewart got fined and put on probation for half the season. Will the same thing happen again? Since this time it involved drivers from Childress and DEI, and we all know how inconsistant NASCAR is... I doubt it.

Ha, Robby made me laugh when he actually tried to blame Jeff the incident at the start .

Blaming your own stupidity on someone else is not a good thing Robby .

Don't think Rubby's penalty will as severe as Tony's. Unless they consider his bump on Jeffie, which he really didn't get into any trouble for, at NHIS last November.

Guys, I won't argue about it, I was there and it looked like jeff gordon "brake checked" just a little coming to the green, I really believe jeff did it on purpose to get that crazy rubby away from him.

I can't really blame jeff for doing it, I wouldn't want that crazy ----------- around me either, rubby would have been determined to lead and would not have cared how many cars that he wrecked or who got hurt either.

rubby was "suckered" and jeff had to have a big smile on his face, I laughed my ---- off when I saw it, you can never accuse jeff of being stupid, lol.

Well if that is true then Jeff certainly should not have done that. But it was STILL Robby's responsibility to stay behind Jeff before he got to the line. The rule says that the leader controls the pace.

Actually, I believe the rule says the poll sitter must cross the Start\Finish line before anyone can pass him. The pace car sets the pace, but at the point where Rubby passed Jeff, the pace car was already off the track. Rubby violated the rule by passing Jeff before he crossed the line, and that is why he got black flagged.

Now rather Jeff braked or not, I don't know. But if he did do it on purpose, it just goes to show you Jeff ain't no dummy like some people think he is. Not to mention, it shows Rubby either doesn't know the rules, or doesn't care about violating them.
