Delman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Back to basics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help required:-
Scenario - Ford 1600 X-flow (rather warm state of tune), twin DCOE 40's fed by Facet pump through a regulator (output checked at 2psi). Start engine, fuel running out of #1 trumpet. Stop engine (leave pump running) no fuel runs out of trumpet????????????????
I don't understand!! If there is someone out there who does, please tell me what is going on. I know that it is something simple I'm missing.
Many thanks in advance
Chris

I am a new subscriber (today) so you may have already solved the problem but off the top of my head I would suggest looking at the needle and seat carefully for that carb. It may be that they are marginal in their sealing and the engine vibration when running is enough to make it leak. Also inspect the float chamber fuel level: compare the levels in both carbs not by the usual "book" method of measuring the float itself, out of the carb, but by removing only the wing nut cover for the jets and measuring the actual fuel level from the top. Good luck!!

THR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Yea... id agree with that. sounds like something isnt seating quite right.
if it hasnt been run for a while, there is pretty much bound to some **** in the needle, thats stopping it sitting down right.
take it apart clean it and put it back together. or get someone else to do it!
