Seems that the Hisaq-Porsche is ready for second qualifying! Frank Stippler was very optimistic in the live TV-interview that the team will make it!

2nd qualifying is on.
All "big" cars are on track! The Land Porsche, Zakspeed Viper and the Aston Martin are on track. If somebody wants to improve the time, it's now. In quarter hour the traffic is so closed that we cannot hope for improvments on the grid. |

The Raeder-Lamborghini improve time in Qualifying! The #90 Gallardo moves on 6th place on the grid with a 8:44 during darkness! Great performance!

Are they running the new 5.5 litre V10 now by the way? Too bad they don't really have the driver lineup to be a challenger for the win. That car would deserve some better drivers.

I don't know which engine they are using for the race! But the drivers are excellent! Dirk Adorf is one of the quickest driver on the old nurburgring! The drivers aren't a reason, it's more the reliabillty of the car! And i don't see the gallardo run more than seven/eight hours without problems! They run into problemsn for sure.
Sorry to say, the Lambo is an such an awesome car around the track! And i wish them best of luck for the race!!!!! |

Yeah, but Adorf is just one of them. Hennerici is excellent and Ralf Schall adequate, but Tilke is very much a letdown.

How is the weather looking for the start of the race?
Also the main website says about 2 different streams but when you click stream there is only one. |

Dunno how the weather is in the Eiffel mountains, but 350km to the south-east it's sunny with a few clouds. With the weather in Germany coming from dry Eastern Europe at the moment, I would be surprised if there was rain at the ring.
