Saleen S7R Twin Turbo?
Now that Saleen has a twin turbo form of the S7, will it translate into a race car?i dont know how much around the new GT1 cars have hp wise, but the old S7R has 600hp, and the TT S7 has 650 hp?, or is it to much power?

I haven't kept up with Saleen. They are talking about another one? Have they ever delivered the orders for the first one?
They were suffering mightily as people waited for the 'new' Mustang to come out, which it has so they may be getting back on track. Did the S7 actually make any money for them, or was it a black hole of expense? |

I think that it might be more interesting, and maybe just more logical for Saleen to enter a Saleen Mustang in GT1 or even GT2, or maybe both. At least they would be more likely to meet the production requirements.

Saleen Mustang? as in the new one they have(based on the new Ford Mustang)?
i doubt they would do such a thing... It does seem like ever since Saleen went under new managment, their racing programme has completly stopped. They still give some support to teams like Acemco and Konrad, but not much.. Konrad in fact, developed his own bodywork for his cars, but they are yet to be approved by the ACO. |

I agree that it is extremely unlikely. I'm not a fan of Saleen at all, I just think that it would be interesting to see that.

I wouldn't like to see any changes in engine size/spec for the Saleen, the engine note from those cars is one of the greatest things man has ever created... altho u cud actually say that about a lot of GT's!

750, i bet thats a little light, with no turbo, its 550, which again, seems light, and it has a 2.8-2.9 0-60
