The reason I'm querying it is, I volunteered online through the BRSCC link on Julian's site & when I went the online way for the MGCC meeting at Silverstone, Paul Stilling the Chief marshal didn't get it.
It's not a big issue as I'm a Silverstone Marshal and have the green car pass etc so will be able to get in, it's just so that they know I'm coming to allocate etc. |

Roy - access to campsite, is it from the village (like for GP) or from front entrance and drive around perimeter road? Not been to Silverstone for 2 years so knew nothing about the college until Saturday!!!!

Camping will be at Winterhills which is behind the new college building access from gate 5 inside the circuit (by Copse corner) There will be toilets and showers. Power is still being worked on so may or may not be available by this meeting

hope this works - cars to be lifted using a DTM type bar.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyf8mvhc6w...D-1080p-1P.mov good, informative video for anyone who might be lifting cars this weekend. |

Neat piece of kit, wonder if it will spread to other formulae?

If you've not done BTCC (or won't) count yourself lucky that you'll not have used the Porsche abomination.

Well done BRSCC thoroughly enjoyed that, a bit of moisture at the end didn't ruin a cracking day.
I liked the 4 wheels off radio system and the way that Alan Tyson brought programmes round to people that missed out at sign on. A really excellent day |

The grid was a bit thin, especially LMP2s, but it was still a fun day. The forecast I'd heard was for heavy rain most of the afternoon so we didn't do too badly. I had to wring my tabard out before I could put it in the boot, though, and I'm desperately trying to dry kit ready for tomorrow at Oulton.
The flask was very nice so thanks to whoever provided the. |

Me too. Missed most of the rain up at the north end. A bit damp early on (too damp for Di Grassi who got a little closer to me than I'd have liked) and then very wet at the end, but mostly just cold the rest of the time.
Good decision by Race Director to call a halt when he did and much appreciated by all of us stood out in it. The flasks are similarly appreciated and very stylish. More cars would have been good, and the very odd morning programme was a bit disappointing, but this will still be my first tick next year. |

We were "armchair marshalling" again - and very pleased to be doing so with all that rain.
