LucaBadoer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Phoenix car partially made from the Arrows three-seater

Quote:
From F1i.com:
The situation surrounding Phoenix Finance Ltd has become even stranger. Not only has the company changed its name twice in recent weeks, but F1i.com's latest information suggests that the cars taken to Brazil were, in fact, the front end of the Prost AP04 combined with the rear of the Arrows three-seater!

Most assumed that the team would simply adapt the Prost AP04 chassis to accept the 1999 Arrows engines that the team would be using. But on the return journey from Malaysia, an Arrows mechanic informed F1i.com that Tom Walkinshaw had simply "grafted the back end of the three-seater on to it". This means the car would inevitably have had to face a new crash test before it could race, but Tom Walkinshaw denied that the car would have to face the new procedure.

hahaha....

They should wait for next year instead of this year. Phoenix racing will have to take their time organizing the race team before going out on the grid.

This story just gets better!! Tom looks to be out to flog them any old toot left lying around the factory.

Not content with exhuming those '99 lumps, he's now rummaged about in the parts bin as well.

He'll be throwing in a years warranty, mudflaps and a full tank of petrol soon.

I'd love to see a pic of the car...there must be one on this earth somewhere...

If all this is true, then someone has lost the plot big-time...

Who cares what its made of and who's driving it. When are you people going to realise this is all about MONEY. A $2.6m investment is going to become a $30m gold mine the day it makes its first qualifying session. Its nothing to do with sport.

Indeed, the whole of F1 is only about money. Everything else comes second.
