Anyway, had a brainwave this afternoon. Something jogged my memory, I popped down to my stores and tucked away behind some exhaust silencers I found the double pass ally rad I'd previously forgotten about. Am going to throw that in and see if it's the rad I have right now that's the problem.. S. |

I am taking Bumble! Had to take gearbox out for second time and use a longer clutch throw out bearing fortunately I had one on the shelf, and that seems to have done the trick.

We won't be out at Snett.
Issue's at the weekend at Silverstone meant too much to do in a short space of time. Already booked in for Brands though. Have a good weekend. J |

I am in.
Wife has chronic chicken pox, youngest is just recovering from it, no idea if the eldest is going to get it. Still... I have new rear wheel bearings and shiny white van to play with, complete with Rock and Roll bed. |

The Falcon looked and sounded fantastic today.
As long as they can fix whatever put him out of race 2. Anybody know why Lee didn't race today - he did qualify on Saturday, but did only 2 timed laps. Denis also seemed to be having a good time racing against Andrew Busby & Lawrie Dunster in their M3s (race 1) but was a no show in the second race. More rear end problems possibly as every time a went past it in the paddock it was jacked up with a mechanic underneath. |

No it wasnt that, he broke the drysump gilmer belt thats what did the damage, engine still turns so hopefully he will get away with bearings and a polish.
Andy got in to the 2.00 minutes lap times in the Falcon on the 300, new outright saloon car record on the new track I wonder bet the BTCC cars don't go as quick! |

Was fine with no leaks when tested in the paddock, and in the collecting area/grid, but suddenly smelt it on the warm up lap. Only lasted 1 lap before the carbs could not get enough fuel as most of it was all spewing out the back, black flagged on 2nd lap and then immediately ran dry and coasted to Montreal hairpin and parked up out the way and yellows were removed when I got myself behind the Armco so did not cause too much grief Great two wins for the Big Lad at last and another 2 great finishes for the Wirral Godfather again I was well and truly wasted there today by the Beast from Down Under, it was in its element like a rumbling Exocet..lol One thing for sure is I don't think we will ever the pace and find 4+ seconds to stay with him with a n/a Lotus 907 Motor there..... But, I can look forward to shorter/damper circuits, and will try my best to be a bigger nuisance to Andy's Falcon...lol The Car is back @ Phil Seamans getting fixed, the ride height & geometry changed, and getting a bank of 4 PIAA'S fitted on the front for the Manx Classic in 10 days time. |

For my part I was let down with a sticky clutch not disengaging properly, it held me up in the first race and I thought I would have to start from the pit lane but after it cooled off I could get by starting it in gear. It was ok for a few laps of the 2nd race and after a good start I got in front of Brian Stevens Lotis and held him at bay for a few laps then came into the end of Corem tried to change down couldnt find any gears at all allowing him to scoot past. It then got worse and worse and at full throttle in 4th was slipping so I was down to using just 2nd and 3rd and had a battle royal with the mk 2 Lotus of Tony Crates now very much on the pace and the lovely little Mk 1 Golf Gti of Andy Johnson but I managed to just hold them off. A good fun couple of races and nice to see our latest recruit Tony Palmer debuting the Mach 1 Mustang. I also settled with Claire so back there in a fortnight for the 360 support race.
