Ben Clucas

Does anybody know what Ben Clucas is doing this year? Is he still on the Toyota DD programme?

I thought Japanse F3, he was testing there. And he is out of the Toyota DD, they only have 3 drivers left, Kobayashi, Hirate and Perera.

As he has been dropped by Toyota, he won't be racing in Japan, but something equivalent in the UK could be a possibility...

JF3 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There is the rumor that Ben will join Italian Formula Renault with Cram Competition.
Source is one of the Japanese motorsport forum.

Is this true?

O'Schumacher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I interviewed Ben for a media project I'm involved with back in January just days after he'd been told he'd been dropped from the Toyota DD Scheme. The Japanese F3 deal never happened (he and Danny Watts both tested for different teams out there at the same time).

He was 2nd fastest in the Formula Renault group test at Brands Hatch Indy yesterday and so I assume he's doing the same today. He's testing for Nexa although I've no idea if he's signed a deal with them yet.

Do you mean Ben Mathias? Surely Danny Watts wouldn't step back down to a championship he's already won?

Whoops! Sorry Gaz - I just know a bloke called Dan Clucas. It's such an unusual surname I get a bit confused...
