When given relevant information, I will.
This is relevant information. Saying the broadcast is not available in my viewing area is a) not true b) and does wind me up. Sorry. When given information which is true and relevant, all is well. This was not well. But thx to Pandamasque for the facebook quote! |

One of the Porsches out there sounds very much like a 993 turbo. Must have a damaged exhaust, its a nice noise.

Biggest plus point for me out of this race is the Viper.
Awesome performance. Especially loving the neon red night light in the cockpit. It looks like Bomarito has pace in the other car. Maybe they should think about pushing Kendall back to an advisory role and get another guy in there? |

Viper lost 3 laps, at least it wasn't a huge fix.

So looking at the last lap times, the #97 Aston is well on the pace of the leading GTE cars, just a long long way back.

To be honest , It didn't feature in my mind . I thought certainly it would have shown improvement ..... but this !!!
Then again ..... Riley is involved . Its really amazing what Riley can do when asked to do so . The Riley & Scott Mk.3 , was the next development of the Cadillac P1 ..... 2nd & 3rd at Sebring and Daytona respectively , 8th on the Le Mans grid ..... with Audi & Bentleys in front which took 6 places , makes you wonder what he could do with a proper budget ? My favourite chassis constructor ..... Ive met Riley with Goossens and a nice pair of blokes too they are . Wish they could get involved in proto racing again ..... but with Viper , I hope they blow the gates of hell open proper style !!! Last edited by The Badger; 17 Mar 2013 at 01:07. |
