Motorsport-Klas should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Streamlined w125 / C-type

Hi there,

does anybody know where i could find some car plans of the streamlined Mercdes-Benz w125 (Rekordwagen) and his opponent, the great Auto Union Type C (Rekordwagen)? It's so hard to find any valuable fotos of them.

I need them to build a 3s polygone model for a computergame.

greetings,

Hallo,

Many of the german Grand Prix and Record cars are covered in great detail in the British Intelligence paper B.I.O.S. No. 1755 from 1948 published by H.M. Stationery Office in London.

Original copies still appear in specialist sales but this was reprinted by the H.M.S.O. (London) in 1996 under the new title "Quicksilver - An investigation of the Development of German Grand Prix racing cars 1934-1939" Price 40£UK ISBN 0 11 290550 1.

Good luck

Hello,
the book mentioned by "taylov" one can buy in Germany in German language. Some time ago I saw it in the Mercedes-Benz Classic-Center in Fellbach near by Stuttgart.
As I can remember one will receive more details from the archive of Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim!
