Kenny W. should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Competitive Mac?

Kept expecting this to pop up here.
Has this story been overlooked?
(McLaren to employ BMW engine guru)?

Can anyone comment on how this ties-in with BMW reportedly being unhappy with their current relationship with Williams? I think Frank's difficult relationship with his engine partner could be made worse by this development, since BMW will feel under increased pressure to do better and will tend to look for sources of blame even more.

On the flip side, McLaren have already forged tighter links with Mercedes... and now they have poached the opposition's top man. If they could just nick Montoya as well we might have a good scrap next year!

When you look closely at Mclaren its almost like they are preparing for war. With the recruitment of this BMW engine guy Iam sure we will see a massive performance improvement in the mercedes engine and dont forget another recent recruit is the guy responsible for this years ferrari gearbox. Could the next thing be that they design a car which is much faster than the williams and do what ferrari have done and persuade michelin to mould there tyres around there car.

I don't think they will be much better than Williams next year. Expect a close battle for 2nd in the WCC.

They grab Ferrari's gearbox guy too, but as what Adrian Newey commented, the future wasn't really bright.
