GeminiT should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
engine conversion

hey does ne one know how hard it is to put either a CA18DET or SR20DET nissan engine in to a gemini....after driving a blue bird with a CA18DET and then a mates 200SX with a SR20DET i have had a change of heart....but i want to keep the gemini so it does not look fast... And because i am over the gemini engine as it is lazy up until 3000-3200rpm

Go the sleeper I'm building one myslef ATM (a sleeper, not a gemi )

I know of a TG(?) (the squareish sedan one) here in WA with a CA18, so it can be done.

I would go for the SR though myself, although they don't sound as good as a CA, they are stronger and lighter. I have a friend that has had no end of troubles with 2 different CA18s. A CA18 is basically a smaller RB20/25, but they don't seem to have the strength/reliability of an RB..

yeah the 200sx i drove was making 250rwkw with stock internals and that was very nice to drive even off boost ...plus the SR is easier to extract power from.....
