Well, the rain dampened any track activity this morning at Daytona but they did get some laps run this afternoon. It's currently raining at this time.

Out of the 26 cars that have ran so far, Danica was 12th quickest. Her lap time was 51.095 seconds with a speed of 176.142.

The quickest of this first session so far is Mikey Kile with a lap time of 49.804 with a speed of 180.708

The quickest driver this morning was Steve Arpin with a lap time of 49.646 with a speed of 181.284.

This afternoon's practice session is over. Danica did well with the drafting. She was 16th quickest in this session with a lap time of 49.572 with a speed of 181.554.

The quickest driver in this session was James Buescher with a lap time of 49.312 with a speed of 182.511.

Danica was 19th quickest with the lap time of 49.572 and a speed of 181.554.

The quickest of the day was Mikey Kile with a lap time of 49.164 and a speed of 183.061.

Alli Owens was 2nd fastest tied with Steve Arpin of Fort Frances Ont. in northrn Ont. The much maligned Milka Duno was faster than 'The Princess'. in far far fewer laps.

Been looking at the websites for the ladies at Daytona-seems there are TEN women on the entry list.2 more not yet having set a time Michele Therialt and a Macloud who I have not heard of before.

Im proud of Danica. She is showing everyone that she will dominate in stock cars as well.

Danica was 10th quickest in this morning's session with a lap time of 49.934 and a speed of 180.238.

Considering she has no stockcar experience, and is up against drivers who have/are/do Stockcars, she's doing pretty well in my book.

Whether she does well, or not, NASCAR will make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ out of it in publicity.

Dominate???????? She hasn't dominated anything except press coverage. One win in her entire car career.
ARCA is 3rd string taxi cabs. Very few drivers in ARCA have run in the Nationwide series and even fewer in Sprint Cup. Many ARCA teams are real low budget.
That said she has done ok, although Milka Duno was faster in far fewer laps on Sat. I also note that many of the fastest cars have not run today including Alli Owens who was 2nd fastest on Sat. You know, that other girl.
