davrianmk5 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Corvette engined Cooper T51 ?

There was a Corvette-engined Cooper T51 single-seater sold at auction in the UK about a year ago, at H+H, if I remember right, and I was wondering if anyone knows where the car is now ?

It had dark-blue panels, and came from Ayrshire.....the ex-Ken Mackie car.

It went to the Hepworth brothers didn't it?

How do you know it was the ex-Ken Mackie car? I can't remember what the catalogue said now.

Ken was the last owner before it was auctioned by his family, after he passed away last year.

It had lain in a garage in Largs for years, where I first saw it.

Could someone give me the contact details for Steve Hepworth, the new owner, as I'll send him all the photos I have of it while it was in the Largs garage. (note, not a Nissen Hut !!)

Bye for now.

Slainte, Alan.
